During this week, I really appreciated learning about AI. The first guest speaker, Darcey, provided insight as to how we can use AI and teach it to students in a safe and educational way. In todays society technology is growing fast which brings to light the importance of understanding both the positive and negative sides to students. It was really interesting watching the Notebook LM video after it turned the slides into a video presentation with a voice over. Carrie Wilson and the video we watched provided insight into AI. The video discussed; AI hallucinations, bias verdicts, discussions of who controls AI, as well as the importance of not putting any personal information from students (including their names) into an AI generator/chat boxes for personal privacy/safety. During the session this week, I learned many tips and tricks that I will be taking with me as a future teacher.
